The Hugenius watch is unveiled in a weightless 3D journey through space. Saturn’s rings rotate slowly in the background as the timepiece emerges from a field of stars. Every detail was crafted to highlight its unique features, from the titanium case to the jumping Day Pointer with its magnifying lens.
The watch is inspired by Christiaan Huygens, the Dutch scientist who discovered Titan in 1655 and invented the spiral spring that made portable watches possible. To mark the 350th anniversary of that invention, Kneijnsberg created Hugenius, named after Huygens’ own signature, and asked us to tell its story through animation.
